After the launching of the 58m (190’) ‘Netanya 8’ in 2007,
CMN has developed a new range of motor yachts, the CMN LINE
60 with two yachts in construction: ‘Slipstream’ & ‘Project
802’. The CMN LINE 60 has been created in cooperation with
the designer Andrew Winch, these stylish and well-constructed
yachts comfortably accommodating an owner’s party of up
to twelve guests. The main features of the yachts include
a wide full beam duplex stateroom including an office, his
and her bathrooms, separate dressing rooms and stairs up
to a raised private observation lounge giving panoramic
views forward. A VIP cabin with a private balcony is also
featured on the upper deck of the yacht.
The CMN LINE 60 yachts are propelled by twin Caterpillar
3516 diesel engines, each giving 2,230hp of power for a
15.5 knot plus maximum speed and a cruising range in excess
of 5,000 nautical miles when cruising at 11.5 knots. The
yachts are also fitted with two pairs of ‘Zero-Speed’ Quantum
stabilizers, making the yachts very stable and comfortable
whether underway or at anchor.
As befits a complex semi-custom build, ‘Slipstream’ has
been modified from the original CMN LINE 60 plans, with
an interior layout created specifically to suit her owner’s
particular requirements. A strong visual impact will be
the vertical windows for the wheelhouse and the panoramic
lounge of the owner’s suite.
‘Project 802’ is the third of the CMN LINE 60 series of
motor yachts. Sharing the same basic hull as her sister
ships, she will have a unique customisation of her interiors
with styling changes to her superstructure and interior
spaces.
