PALMER JOHNSON 135 SERIES 'RED DRAGON'
Leading US yacht builder Palmer Johnson is currently working hard with several new designs due to reach development, together with more versions of the company's successful 120', 135' and 150' series. The Palmer Johnson 120 series of which 6 yachts have now been built, was featured in Volume 1 of Luxury Yachts Of The World, whilst the first of the 135 series, the 'Red Dragon' and the company's new designs will feature in the next volume of Luxury Yachts Of The World, which will be published in July 2008. The new flagship of the range is expected to be a 170' Super Sports Yachts,
whilst other new designs include an 80' open yacht and a 100' sports yacht. Palmer Johnson are expected to present their new designs at the Dubai Yacht Show in March, where 'Luxury Yachts Of The World' will be also be present.

Though instantly recognizable as a PJ the new 135 has many features including covered walk-around decks and a double chimed hull from Blount and Associates measuring 3 feet wider than the 120’ and 5 staterooms which include a huge master with PJ’s trademark large windows for scenic sea views. Like the other vessels in Palmer Johnson’s Sport Yacht lineup the 135’ has immense areas devoted to the elements of the sea, air and sun as well as arguably the most private upper sundeck in its class. Like the others in the series the 135 is Lloyds classed and MCA certified. On the mechanical side the 135’ benefits from 16V4000 MTU power plants rated at 3650 H.P.
